PRESS RELEASE (3/16/23): The Aurora Republican Committee has endorsed Charles Snyder, William Reuter, Patrick Hanley and Anthony DiFilippo as party candidates for the 2023 Town of Aurora election.
Charles Snyder is running for town supervisor. Snyder is a longtime local businessman, has served as a town council member for the past 10 years and has been the deputy supervisor under current Supervisor James Bach since 2018.
William Reuter and Patrick Hanley are running for town council. Reuter is a past town council member, he has served on the East Aurora School Board, including one year as president, and he has served as interim president at SUNY Erie Community College. Hanley is a business owner with five young children and has been increasingly active in local concerns.
Anthony DiFilippo has served the community personally and professionally for over 35 years and is seeking a third term as town justice.
The candidates look forward to the opportunity to engage residents in the coming months during campaign season.
